Sweet candy wedding in Central London

What a yummy wedding we just concocted over the week end at Chandos House! We went all out for pinks, lime greens and lilac… all sweet candy colours as highlighted by the use of Miranda David Austin roses as our star flower.

The bride wanted a bouquet of Sarah Bernhardt peonies and the Miranda roses were the perfect substitute for a fall wedding.

We also loved designing the little ring cushion with santini chrysanthemums, adorable and just the right finishing touch. It was the ideal companion for the flowergirl’s pink pomander.

A late summer wedding

On September 20th, we were blessed with a wonderful sunny day for the wedding of our last summer bride for 2008 in Hampton Court! To celebrate the end of the season, Kim had chosen a vintage theme for her wedding flowers adding nice personal touches such as antique brooches to her bridesmaids’ bouquets.
We used hydrangea and beautiful Cezanne roses throughout our designs. Hydrangea have a wonderful vintage feel comes September with dark pink and bronze hues mixing beautifully together.
